This restaurant is suitable for casual dining, but not ideal for special occasions. The food is exceptional, with a variety of meat options and decent vegetarian dishes. The service is also great, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. They have seats inside and outside. The restaurant story: In 2013, our family came from Cuba with many aspirations and dreams. One of them was to open a restaurant and give guests the opportunity to take a bite of Cuban culture. An immense passion for delighting people with the unique flavors found in our favorite Cuban dishes has been a characteristic of our family for generations. So, we decided to bring this family tradition to Naples and to share it with guests from all over the world , so that they might experience the authentic flavors of Cuban cuisine. Our name is inspired by the popular Cuban saying "van van" meaning a quality of perseverance and tenacity to face life. Van Van Cuban Cafe is the place where families and friends can gather and celebrate while enjoying our homemade delights.

Van Van Cuban Cafe is tucked in on the first floor of a plaza that is easy to pass by on 41, but it shouldn't be missed! There is some outdoor seating on the sidewalk and indoor seating inside with a small bar that serves wine and beer - no liquor to my knowledge. The food was great, all standard Cuban fare. All ingredients were freshly prepared and made to order. The service was friendly, and the food came out surprisingly fast for how fresh it was. The prices were slightly more expensive than I had expected, but that won't stop me from coming back again.

First time at Van Van Cuban Cafe. We were very happy with our meal. Both main dishes came with choices of two sides, everything was absolutely delicious and had a ton of flavor. Flan and tres leches were good for dessert. Place could use a little bit more character, music they had was great. It probably was the most expensive Cuban restaurant we've been to, at $25+ per each main dish. It was probably the tastiest too.

Incredibly impressed with Van Van Cuban Cafe! Our waitress Jamie was very helpful and informative on the dishes and answered our questions about the meals before ordering. I don’t think we had to ask questions, because everyone loved every meal that we ordered. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you! (My dad just said “this is the best Cuban food I’ve had in my life”)
